How to book the lodge

Book online

Use our online booking system to book your place at the lodge. 

Availability and your booking will be confirmed by the online booking system immediately. Online bookings will take precedence over phone and email bookings.

Through the online booking system you will be able to:

• request either a double (shared) or single bunk and
• state your bunk or room preference.

Every effort will be made to accommodate your selected preference. However, depending on prior selection by others your bunk preference is not guaranteed.

Book by email

Contact the lodge bookings officer by email.

Please ensure you include the following information in your email:

•     Arrival / Departure dates
•     Number of nights (this would auto calculate in form boxes)
•     Names of individuals and whether they are members or non-members
•     Booking type i.e adult or child (see the rates tables)
•     Ages of any children
•     Any bunk preference you have

Book by phone

• The booking number is 04 479 6799.
• Please do not phone after 9pm.
• Your request can be made by talking to the Lodge Bookings Officer or by leaving a message.
• Please ensure that you leave your phone number clearly and repeat it on the message that you leave.

Bookings will be allocated as soon as possible, and your allocation will be confirmed to you via email.

Bookings are not confirmed and secured until full payment is received.

Group bookings for WTMC members and non-members are available for various weeks during the winter and summer season. Please contact the Bookings Officer for more information.
