Step up to leadership

Are you a would-be leader? We're going to run a leadership day at the clubrooms on Saturday 9 June from 9am - 3pm.

Who can enroll

Anyone who is considering (even half considering) leading a trip with the club.

Even if your desire to lead a trip is at the tentative end of the scale, come along and learn skills that will make you more of a super-tramper.

Course structure

Alongside a session by the chief guide on the nuts-and-bolts of trip running, there will be:

• home-baking
• decent coffee
• free* lunch
• some practical navigation (courtesy of certified compass user Alistair Young)
• good company
• conversations about the weather.
