Lodge based Trips
- There are extra requirements for lodge trips – you will need to know the operation to lead such a trip e.g. water supply, safety issues etc.
- The Lodge is limited to 32. If you require additional accommodation, contact the Lodge Booking Officer who will advise contact details for neighbouring Lodges who can usually help out.
- One person on the trip needs to be designated as the Lodge Trip Leader. This person needs to be familiar with the operation of the Lodge - water supply, safety issues etc.
- The Lodge Booking Officer will arrange Lodge requirements such as food, key collection and Trip Leader's Manual.
- Let the Lodge Booking Officer know trip numbers on the Wednesday evening before the trip at the latest and any special catering requirements. Food will be ordered for you.
- Out of the ski season, food may need to be picked up in Ohakune - the Lodge Booking Officer will advise if this is necessary.
- Make sure that all Lodge guests take a pillowcase and use it.
